The Start of Good Things

Ron Pattison grew up in rural Montana. He graduated from the University of Montana with a B.A. in Business Administration in 1980. He specialized in Accounting. While there he was a walk-on to the basketball team as a freshman. After graduating, Ron moved to New Mexico in 1982, where he began working in Public Accounting and received his CPA Certificate in August of 1984. After working for a national/international employee benefits firm, Ron opened Pattison Pension Specialists in Dec. of 1990.

Since then, Ron has specialized in the design and administration of Defined Contribution Plans (DC), also known as 401K plans, as well as many others. The current staff of PPS includes six consultants and four administrative support employees. These professionals offer over 100 years combined experience in employee benefits.

In addition to all that, Ron is an avid sports enthusiast, as well sports fan and follows many different favorite teams. During his personal time Ron enjoys his family time with his wife Sandra of 11 years and his two children Marrisa 10 and Lyman (Ronnie) 8. He volunteers as an assistant coach on Lyman’s Rookie Baseball team and belongs to the Rio Grande Rotary Club. Ron is an avid Lobo’s Basketball and Football fan and attends a dozen Isotope games every summer.
